Questions about hosting
How do I earn as a host?
You set your own price for every tour, and you earn from every adventurer who joins.
Adventurers can join with a Stamp from their subscription or by paying for your tour directly. The tour form shows your estimated earning per person before you publish. The full terms are in the Host Agreement, which you can read once you have registered.
How and when do I get paid?
We send your earnings every Saturday.
You set up payouts once in your host profile with Stripe. After we send a payout, how quickly it reaches your account depends on Stripe and your bank, and it can take a few business days. Where Stripe is not available in your country, we pay through Wise or arrange transfers with you directly.
What do I need to start, and who approves me?
A smartphone or camera with a clear picture, a stable connection and a story to tell. Our team approves your application before you can create tours.
Before you publish your first tour you set up payouts with Stripe, which verifies your identity. You publish your tours yourself, when you are ready. A guide licence is welcome but not required: you can add your licence number if you have one.
